We’re publishing a beautiful, large-format coffee table book—and that means high-quality imagery is key. Here’s how to make your photo count:

  • High Resolution*: Use your phone or camera’s highest quality setting. (At least 3000px on the shortest side.)
  • Horizontal (Landscape) Orientation preferred (pro tip: use a tripod!)
  • JPEG or PNG format only
  • No filters or heavy edits — natural beauty wins
  • Well-lit: Daylight or soft interior lighting is ideal (pro tip: turn off your flash!)
  • Focus on the fireplace, but bonus points for beautiful styling, cozy scenes, or seasonal vibes (pro tip: don’t zoom, crop your photo instead!)

Tip: Don’t upload screenshots or texted images. Use the original file when submitting.

*We recommend a professional DSLR or mirrorless camera; or an iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Max or later for the best quality.

  • Make your fireplace the star. Frame your shot with the fireplace as the clear focal point. Remember, don’t zoom, you can always crop your photo.

  • Keep it clean and clear. Minimize reflections on the glass by cleaning thoroughly and adjusting lighting or camera angle.

  • Shoot in landscape (horizontal) orientation. It works best for print layouts and full-page spreads in our coffee table book.

  • No dark or blurry photos. We want to see your fireplace in all its glowing glory—clear and well-lit wins every time.

  • No screenshots or texted images. These lose resolution. Always upload the original photo file.

  • Avoid clutter. Make sure the area around your fireplace is tidy so the focus stays on the design and ambiance.
